Conservation

The most renewable energy is energy that is never used. When producing energy using renewable technology, it is a rule of thumb that every $1 spent on energy efficiency saves $3 on system costs.

While SRE is spending a lot of time on increasing renewable production on campus, we understand that efficiency and conservation are also key.

This year we have launched a conservation campaign to encourage students, faculty, and administration to conserve resources.

This committee meets every Tuesday at 4pm in VU 425.
