Wind Resource Assessment

One of our goals for the 2007-2008 school year is to begin a wind resource assessment on campus. The plan is to analyze the wind energy potential in the area in order to determine if installing a wind turbine could be an economical solution to producing energy at WWU. Once that determination is made, the committe will work with the administration to determine whether the project is feasible.

This committee meets every Tuesday at 4:00pm. On April 8th and 22th we will meet in VU 714, after which we will meet in VU 460. Meeting location on April 15th is being determined, as no rooms were available.
